Trotz dessen das ich gerade (und auch schon in den letzten Wochen) keine wirkliche Zeit habe, fand ich muss ich kurz auf folgendes Hinweisen:

Jason Gorman schrieb heute einen Artikel auf testingReflections.com in dem er mindestens 100 Leute weltweit dazu auffordert ein Versprechen abzugeben sich *wirklich* um Software zu kümmern. Die Aktion begleitet er unter www.icareaboutsoftware.org und trägt dort die ersten 100 Personen oder Firmen sowie Institutionen die seinem Aufruf folgen.

Ziel des ganzen soll, wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, sein, eine Art Verpflichtung einzugehen sich wirklich Gedanken um Software zu machen. Als erstes möchte Jason dann ein paar Gimmicks wie Banner oder ähnliches an diese hundert verteilen um dann die Community weiter wachsen zu sehen.

Sobald ich etwas mehr Zeit finde, übersetze ich das Versprechen, welches er abverlangt ins Deutsche.

As someone who cares passionately about software, I will:

· Look for ways to achieve higher value with greater economy in my work

· Champion those practices which lead to higher value with greater economy in the wider software development community

· Enthusiastically contribute to software development research, knowledge-sharing and debate with others who care as passionately as I do

· Defend against demonstrably poor practices, be they born out of ignorance or the special interests of people and organisations who evidently do not care about software as passionately as I do

· Offer moral and practical support to those who care as much as I do to help them do the right thing
